Undergraduate Work Placement Programme 2003/4
The International Business
School has announced its first Work Placement Programme
for BA (Hons)
Business Studies undergraduates. The initiative
offers local employers a unique opportunity to secure
a business-focussed undergraduate for that special
project, challenge and potential recruitment.
Placements are due
to commence between June and August 2003 and are
available to local industrial,
commercial and government organisations on a one-year
fixed term contract, during the third 'sandwich' year
of a student's degree study.
Employers may choose suitable roles at
their discretion. These could typically involve Marketing,
Business Planning, Compliance, Retail Management,
Research, IT/Systems Analysis or Procurement.
