The Isle of Man is located at the centre of the British Isles.  Travel by air from major cities in the United Kingdom and Ireland takes about one hour. There are also daily sea ferry and fast craft services linking the Isle of Man to ports in England and Ireland.

The easiest way to travel to the Isle of Man from Europe or further a field is by air, first to the United Kingdom or Ireland (where visa and immigration details are checked) and then on a connecting flight to the Isle of Man. There are daily flights to and from the Isle of Man airport from many UK airports. The major international airports with connections to the Isle of Man are Manchester, Birmingham and London Gatwick.

For a full list of the airlines and airports serving the Island, please visit the Isle of Man Airport Website.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company operates ferry services to the Island from Heysham, Dublin, Liverpool and Belfast.   The fast craft service takes about two and a half hours whereas the conventional ferry takes between 4 and 5 hours.
