The Nunnery

The Nunnery Estate is a private and exclusive location, with superb rolling lawns and historic buildings set within acres of woodland.

Built in 1823, The Nunnery Mansion House is one of the Island’s finest buildings and is now home to the Isle of Man International Business School (The IBS).  The architectural style of the building is known as “Strawberry-Hill-Gothic” and was designed by John Pinch, father and son, who were responsible for much of Regency Bath.  The house (and all the other buildings on the estate) is built of Manx stone quarried from a site alongside Old Castletown Road.

The Nunnery Estate is an ideal venue for film-making and offers several unique features within its grounds – all in an easily accessed Location.
