Yn Skimmee Ain

Prof. Augustine Okanlawon, PhD, MCMI
Director of MBA Programmes
Professor of Human Resource Management

Professor Okanlawon is our Director of MBA Programmes.

He has extensive lecturing and consulting experience specialising in Human Resource Management (HRM), Organisational Behaviour and Management Development and has previously been employed as a Programme Leader for the International MBA programme at the University of Glamorgan.

Augustine obtained his PhD in Management Training and Development from the University of Bradford in 1989 and has written a number of published works. He has provided consultancy support on HRM and Organisational Behaviour issues to a variety of high profile organisations including the British Council, European Union, Shell and British Petroleum. He is a Visiting Professor at Groupe Ecole Superieure de Commerce et de Management (ESCEM), France; a member of the Advisory Board for the Journal of Training and Management Development Methods and editorial referee for a number of other journals.

Professor Okanlawon has been at the Isle of Man International Business School since our first cohort of students was admitted in 2001. He was awarded the title of Professor in July 2006 following the external assessors’ unanimous recommendations.
