Yn Skimmee Ain

Marina Corkhill, MEd
Head of Internal Operations

Marina is responsible for the day-to-day operational activities of the Isle of Man International Business School (The IBS). Her role involves the implementation and continuous improvement of systems and procedures in order to maximise the contribution that the Operations Team make to The IBS. As a member of the Strategic Management Team, Marina also contributes to and assists in planning the strategic aims of The IBS.

Marina also provides a comprehensive employment service and professional advice for all categories of staff on areas such as employment relations and performance management.

Prior to joining The IBS in June 2006, Marina worked in the role of Operations Manager within Higher Education for eight years. Before this, she worked at Rolls-Royce Aerospace for twelve years undertaking a variety of roles before finding her niche in Training and Development.

Marina graduated from The University of Sheffield in May 2001 with a Master of Education. She was born and educated in Derby.
