Meet Our TeamYn Skimmee Ain
Dr Miller joined the Isle of Man International Business School (The IBS) in March 2007 and will be teaching on our BA (Hons) Business Studies/ Business Management and Executive MBA programmes. Gloria received her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada and has extensive teaching experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at a number of universities in that country. Prior to joining the IBS, she was an Associate Professor at the University of Regina in Saskatchewan. She is presently an Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University in Victoria, British Columbia and teaches, on a visiting basis, on the MBA programme there. She teaches in the areas of organisational behaviour, organisational theory, organisational change and leadership - as well as in human resource management and strategic management. Her background is in applied psychology. Gloria is an active researcher and has published in Gender, Work and Organisation, Women in Management Review and Culture and Organization as well as having presented research papers at many conferences and contributed to practitioner publications.
